I am back!! :D

I can't believe it has been more than two months since my last post!!! So many things to do, so little time! But I was working with scrap...

During this period I became officially a "scrapbook designer" for Pedaços Scrapbook!!! Thanks Tá and Flá - love you both; I had my work published in a magazine and I was also invited to participate in a book collection: Scrap Fascículos. My book is the second of the series and it is about Cards!!! The launch will be on December 18th!!! Invitation attached! I couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the international community of scrappers who have always been so inspiring for me. I would like to thank specially Marion Smith because her classes helped to define my scrap style. Marion, your generosity is beyond words. I am and will always be your fan!

Soon, I will post more about the launch and some prizes on my blog!!!

Eu nem acredito que já faz mais de dois meses desde o meu último post!!! Tantas coisas para fazer e tão pouco tempo! Mas eu estava trabalhando com scrap...

Durante esse tempo e me tornei oficialmente "designer de scrapbook" para a Pedaços Scrapbook!!! Obrigada Tá e Flá - amo vocês; eu tive um trabalho publicado em uma revista e também fui convidada para participar em uma coleção de livros: Scrap Fascículos. Meu livro é o segundo da série e é sobre Cartões!!! O lançamento será dia 18 de Dezembro!!! O convite está anexo! Eu não poderia estar mais feliz.

Obrigada a comunidade internacional de scrappers que tem sido sempre tão inspiradora para mim. Eu gostaria de agradecer especialmente Marion Smith porque suas aulas me ajudaram a definir meu estilo no scrap. Marion, sua generosidade é além de palavras. Sou e sempre serei sua fã!

Altered can for my MOM - Lata decorada para minha mãe

I made this altered can for my mom so that she has a place for her sewing stuff. I used a can of panettone. Inside I put needles, sewing threads, safety pin, buttons, pins and of course, some chocolate!! She loved it!!! And she is showing it off for everyone who goes to her home!! :)

Fiz essa lata decorada para minha mãe para que ela tenha um lugar para colocar suas coisas de costura. Eu usei uma lata de panettone. Dentro eu coloquei agulhas, linhas, alfinetes de segurança, botões, alfinetes de costura e é claro, chocolate!! Ela amou!!! E está mostrando pra todo mundo que passa por lá! :)

Prima Flowers Live Thursday Challenge (Desafio de Quinta de Prima Flowers ao Vivo)

A layout made for Prima Live Thursday Challenge. Here I used some denim for the flower and the mat of the tag. I printed the words in transparency using Photoshop effect and painted the borders with blue acrylic. The flowers, paper and leaves are Prima.

Um layout feito para o Desafio de Quinta de Prima ao Vivo. Aqui eu usei tecido jeans para a flor e o tapetinho do tag. Imprimi as palavras em transparência usando efeito no Photoshop e pintei as bordas com tinta acrílica azul. As flores, papel e folhas são Prima.

Recipe Book (Caderno de Receitas)

Best Friends

Some days ago I and my friends had our monthly dinner. It was great as usual. They are the best friends in the world. I love, love, love each and every one of them.

At the end of the dinner I gave everyone a small favor. My way to say: "I love you!"

Alguns dias atrás, eu e meus amigos tivemos nosso jantar mensal. Foi ótimo como sempre. Eles são os melhores amigos do mundo. Amo, amo, amo cada um deles.

No final eu dei uma lembrancinha para cada um. É meu jeito de dizer: "Amo vocês"!

I made this card for SSC challenge - Die Cuts - Animals.

First Tim Holtz Elements :)

I've finally finished my brother's gift. It was difficult because I could not use all my "girly" stuff. But, by then it had arrived my first Tim Holtz Elements and Distress pads!! Ok, I did not make a very creative use of his elements (I only used hinges and frame), but I loved using grungeboard and the final effect.

Creating the miniatures on top was the best part. I loved it! (The photos on top are of my brother and mom!)

Well, I would love to know what you think of it, my scrapper friends!!

Card Mini Album

When I made this card to a SSC challenge I decided to give it for a very sweet person. But I wanted to make it more "useful" so I changed it into a Card Mini Album. Since I haven't had much time, just now it is ready. This card goes to Pryn! I hope you like it Pryn. Please, email me your address.

Gifts for the Girls

After such great help from my brother and friends to paint my house, I decided to make a gift for them. For the girls I decorated these cans and filled with chocolate.

For my brother I am still doing it. ( I have to confess: I am really not good for men's layouts!!! :(

Most of the embellishments I use are "girly"! I am trying to do a vintage style for him (Tim Holtz help me!!!!). As soon as it is ready I'll post it. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated! :)
